What's next?
The structure of Google Strides was developed from four pillars: Community, Job Opportunities, Mapping, and Events & Courses. The application allows users to interact with a reliable network, find opportunities in committed companies and institutions, receive personalized recommendations, and participate in events aimed at the TEA (Autism Spectrum Disorder) community.
The choice of Google as a partner came from its experience with inclusion in the job market, such as the Autism Career Program, in addition to native integration with tools from the Google ecosystem, such as Calendar, Keep, and Gemini.
Visually, we've kept Google's colors to highlight the positive aspects of the partnership. However, we've introduced a warm beige background and abstract, dynamic shapes that represent each individual's uniqueness and humanity. The design moves away from a cold, standardized aesthetic, creating a more vibrant and organic experience.
The shapes coexist, constantly overlapping and blending, yet never of the same size or form. This clearly exemplifies the multiplicity of individuals with ASD and their neurodiversity.
In terms of UX, we avoided infinite scrolling. Instead, we adopted a system of fixed and filterable posts to allow users to explore content in a more controlled manner, ensuring more comfortable navigation for individuals sensitive to excessive stimuli.
Google Strides transforms digital inclusion into a more human, accessible, and genuine experience through design that respects diversity and an experience tailored for neurodivergence.
